How we Spend our funds
How we Spend our funds
Collection
Books are collected in Edinburgh
before being carefully packed into
barrels. These barrels are shipped
and flown to remote communities
where access to learning materials
are limited.
Transport
Once delivered, books are shared
among children, encouraging
reading together, learning from
one another, and building a sense
of community through stories.
Arrival
The books form the foundation of
a local library created with and for
the children giving them a safe,
shared space where learning is
always accessible.
Engaging
Access to books supports literacy,
confidence, and curiosity. It helps
children stay in education, imagine
new futures, and strengthens their
right to learn.
